This apartment complex will give a new life to the historic building of Fábrica de Conservas “Litoral e Companhia Lda.”
Litoral Living was born inspired by the history and modernity of the place where it operates – Matosinhos Sul -, making a perfect balance between both. This apartment complex comes to give a new life to the historic building of the Canning Factory “Litoral e Companhia Lda.”, Closed at the beginning of the 20th century and once proof of the strength of the traditional canning industry in the region. Keeping the essence of the old factory, the original design of its facade is Litoral Living, born inspired by the history and modernity of the place where it operates – Matosinhos Sul -, making a perfect balance between both. Preserved, in the wing of the houses, and the chimney industrial becomes an essential element of the wide garden area, inside the condominium.

From the foundations in history and critical thinking about the existing building, a modern architecture project was born, adapted to the current reality of Matosinhos Sul, whose dynamism and urbanization are growing. For this reason, the project was designed to receive young and cosmopolitan families, who are looking for a city lifestyle, but who do not dispense with the privileged location by the sea.
This project promoted by Desafios Geniais II, in which Lucios Real Estate has a stake, includes architecture by MOFASE Arquitectura e Engenharia, Lda. And construction by Lucios Engenharia e Construção. In a construction area of 14 thousand square meters, the project foresees the construction of 10 houses and 66 apartments. In the case of the former, there are T2 and T3 Duplex types with areas between 117.36 m2 and 144.46 m2. As for the apartments, from T1 to T4, they have areas between 56.20 m2 and 193.66 m2. To these is added a commercial space prepared for restoration.
In promoting comfort and safety, Litoral Living will include a technological solution, which incorporates a video surveillance system and an emergency generator to ensure essential functions for the functioning of the building.
